Our Finishes
INFO ABOUT OUR FINISHES
All our finishes are hand crafted from natural cast metal which is left natural to age over time,
we never use lacquer on this range of handles so the handle patinas naturally.
Aged Brass - Made from solid cast brass, polished and then aged by hand with a dark patination that will continue to age over time.
Aged Bronze - Made from solid cast bronze, polished and then aged by hand with a dark patination that will continue to age over time.
Satin Aged Brass - Made from solid brass with an aged brushed satin finish which has a rich gold patination that will continue to age over time.
Polished Brass - Made from solid cast brass with a highly polished finish, no lacquer so the handles will dull down when used, to polish up use a brass polish.
Brushed Satin Brass - Made from solid cast brass with a brushed satin brass finish, no lacquer so the handles will oxidise and dull down when used.
Polished Bronze - Made from solid cast bronze with a highly polished finish, bronze contains copper so is a warmer metal than brass, no lacquer so the handles will dull down when used, to polish up use a brass polish.
Polished Nickel - Made from solid cast brass with a polished nickel plated finish, nickel is a beautiful metal which is richer and warmer than chrome, no lacquer so the handles will oxidise slightly when used, to polish up use a brass polish.
CARING FOR YOUR HANDLES
For all finishes please clean with a soft cloth using warm water only if necessary,
no abrasives or chemicals as this can damage the metal or react with it.
Polished finishes can be polished with brasso if desired.
